Program Overview
 
Addictions Treatment
We treat our Alcohol and Drug Abuse clients with respect and professionalism. Our staff is certified in Alcohol and Drug treatment, and many have extensive experience, education and training in Mental Health. Treatment is provided in all languages in a culturally appropriate manner. Through direct clinical supervision we assure that our staff works closely with clients and referral sources to coordinate efforts and meet all goals and objectives.
Special Programs
  Hispanic Program. Since the beginning of our Company in 1983, we have provided substance abuse treatment to the Hispanic community. As one of the largest treatment programs of its kind, we offer services to Spanish-speaking clients at all our ChangePoint locations in the Tri-county area
Violence Intervention Program. The Violence Intervention Program helps men with domestic violence problems, and also includes substance abuse treatment. Given in both Spanish and English, the Program offers positive alternatives to abusive behavior, and assists clients in developing healthier, safer relationships based on mutual respect and equality.
 
Matrix Teen Program.
Matrix Methamphetamine Addiction Recovery. The Matrix Model is an evidence-based Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program created by The Matrix Institute in Los Angeles. It has been tested through research, showing favorable outcomes. It is a manualized treatment program that is based on cognitive behavioral therapy models, relapse prevention and skill training, all presented in a client-centered, Motivational Interviewing style.
Intensive Outpatient. The ChangePoint Intensive Outpatient Program is specifically designed to serve clients with significant diagnosable substance dependence disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Clients in the IOP tend to have more ancillary needs, which are addressed in treatment, such as housing, employment, medical and psychiatric issues, domestic violence etc.
Criminal Justice and Substance Abuse Program. The main objective of the Criminal Justice and Substance Abuse Program is to serve the community by offering treatment and professional assistance associated with substance abuse and criminogenic risk factors. The unique aspect of this program is its ability to initiate treatment at any stage of the client’s substance abuse/criminogenic condition.
Staff Training and Consultation. ChangePoint offers a comprehensive training program focused on implementation of best practices and staff development, which is provided through workshops and written material to addiction treatment agencies nationwide.
