When
you toss a pebble into a pond,
at the point of contact you cause a change;
a change that ripples out in all directions.
And these waves of change are felt
by whatever else they happen to touch.
This simple image symbolizes both
the vision and responsibility of who we are.

The
ChangePoint Training and Consulting
|
| |
| With nearly 25 years
of experience in providing substance abuse treatment to the Portland
Metropolitan Area, ChangePoint has become a national leader in successful
implementation of evidence-based treatment programs. |
| ChangePoint participates
in a variety of scientific research projects with local, regional
and national institutions, including government agencies and universities,
which are aimed at discovering more effective methods of substance
abuse treatment. In addition to involvement in actual collection and
interpretation of research data ChangePoint is often given the responsibility
of applying the new treatment approaches and methodologies thus developed.
This is accomplished through onsite trainings, workshops and direct
consultation with treatment agencies and other organizations seeking
to learn about the latest research-based treatment methods, improve
their treatment protocols and to increase the skill level of their
counseling staffs. |
