Claudette Wallace,
MA

Claudette received her masters degree in addiction counseling
in 1999 from Westbrook University. In 1987 she became a certified
alohol and drug counselor 111 from the addiction counselor board of
Oregon. In 1991 she was certified by the National certification commission.
Since 1983 she has worked in the addiction counseling field both as
a counselor, supervisor, program developer and consultant in
the private sector. In 1985 while working in an outpatient treatment
facility in Salem, Ore. she developed a 12 month day treatment program
for women and their children. For 16 years she worked for Springbrook
N.W. which became Hazelden Springbrook as a supervisor of outpatient
services, supervisor of residential treatment services, and Evaluation
specialist working with licensing boards all over the United States.
From 1989 until 2005 she provided service to male and female offenders
in the correctional facilities in Oregon. She developed a workshop
outline which was used for 10 hour workshops in the institutions,
and supervised 15 chemical dependency counselors all over the state
of Oregon. She has been on staff at ChangePoint since October of 2005
as a counselor. |

Dana Mackin, M.A.

Dana Mackin has a Masters in Counseling Psychology with
an emphasis in Addictions from Lewis & Clark Graduate School
and is obtaining her certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor
for the State of Oregon. She has also worked as a research assistant
for the Mood Disorders Clinic at the Portland VA, and with the
Center for AIDS Prevention Studies at UCSF. She completed a
year-long internship as a mental health counselor in the Washington
County jail where she conducted individual counseling with inmates,
and led psycho-educational groups focused on thinking skills,
violence prevention/anger management, and relapse prevention.
She has an extensive background and training in working with
men who abuse partners and would like to focus her career on
the intersection between addiction and violence. She currently
leads Intensive Outpatient, DUI Diversion, and Domestic Violence
Intervention groups. |

Elizabeth Wallace,

Liz Wallace graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz in
1996 with a B.A. degree in Psychology. She received a Masters
Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Addictions in
2005. Liz has worked with individuals, groups, couples and families
to help them achieve their goals. She is currently a state registered
intern and plans to receive her LPC in 2007. She is also CADC certified.
Liz moved to Portland from California in 1999 and lives with her husband
of 8 years, a 6-year old daughter, and one hyperactive, but loveable
Springer spaniel. |

Gustavo is bilingual, bicultural, has over eleven years of experience
working with Anglo and Hispanic low-, medium-, and high-risk offenders
at ChangePoint. Gustavo has had training in criminogenic needs assessment
and risk factors, as well as training with Milkman-based programs
and four years experience working with (Duluth Model trained) DV offenders.
Gustavo is a member of the Multnomah County Family Violence Coordinating
Council. Gustavo has extensive training and supervision in MI as part
of the NIDA-CTN 0023 Protocol. |

Jacquie Pancoast, B.S., CADC I, DV Program Co-Coordinator and Counselor.
Jacquie has worked as a substance abuse and batterer intervention
counselor for Change Point since 2002 and has participated in community
outreach and multiple community volunteer positions for over 20 years.
She is a member of Clackamas County Family Violence Coordinating Council,
the Tri-County Batterer Intervention Provider Network, and is co-chair
of Communities Against Domestic Violence of East Multnomah County. |

Mr. Chapman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Master Addiction
Counselor.
He has a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Jane Addams College
of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle specializing
in mental health. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work with minors
in Psychology and Addictions.
Jim Chapman did internships in two shelters, a level 3 drug treatment
center, and a high security prison. He has 5 years experience at level
3 residential A/D treatment with high risk offenders and mental
health crises, 6 years with level 1 A/D treatment, and 12 years in
A/D detox treatment. He worked about 1 year doing family and crisis
assessments for suicidal children, and 3 years in a methadone clinic.
He has over 28 years clean and sober time. |
Karen A. Craig

Karen Craig retired from the VA Medical Center in Salt lake City,
Utah after working on their Psychiatry, Mental Health, and Substance
Abuse Treatment Units for 31 years. She also worked for Intermountain
Health Care in their Psychiatry and Substance Abuse Treatment Programs
for 16 years. Together these jobs provided her a rich experience with
the treatment of a variety of mental health and substance abuse treatment
issues. She did graduate study at the University of Utah. After her
retirement she moved to the Oregon Coast and worked for Lincoln County
Health and Human Services, in their substance abuse treatment program,
then to Vancouver where she worked for Community Alcohol and Drug
Center before joining the ChangePoint staff in the summer 2005. She
staffs the Vancouver office. |
Kimberly M Hayes

Kimberly M Hayes, age 30, was born and raised in Northern California.
She received her Associates of Science degree in Administration of
Justice from Santa Rosa Junior College in 1998, while interning at
Santa Rosa Police Department in the Violent Crimes unit. In 2001,
she re-located to Oregon to return to her studies and received her
Bachelors of Science degrees in Social Sciences and Liberal Studies
with a minor in Sociology from Portland State University. During this
time, she first served in AmeriCorps working with disadvantaged youth
at the Oregon Trail Chapters Red Cross and later became the
Domestic Violence Deferred Sentencing assistant for Washington Countys
Community Corrections. She is currently pursuing a Certified Alcohol
Drug Counselor I certification and evaluating several Masters
programs to continue her studies in domestic violence treatment research.
Kimberly considers traveling and reading to be two of her favorite
leisure activities. She also enjoys spending time outdoors in the
Pacific Northwest with her 12 year old daughter and their dog. |
Robert Nobile

Robert Nobile, age 59, holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology
from Norwich University in Montpellier, Vermont. He is a NAADAC Certified
Master Addiction Counselor, as well as a Certified Alcohol and Drug
Counselor III in the state of Oregon. Bob has worked in the counseling
field for over twelve years and has been a practitioner of Zen Buddhism
for over twenty five years. Bob has worked at ChangePoint for the
past eight years facilitating Level II I.O.P. groups: Individual counseling
sessions; and Level I A&D treatment groups. Bobs professional
interests focus primarily with the treatment of co-occurring disorders.
Bob was a participant in the NIDA protocol Research Project, Northwest
Node. He is on the Advisory Panel for Portland Community College Counselor
Training Program and has functioned as a supervisor for PCC student
counselor interns.

Susan received her Associates of Science degree from P.C.C.
and has 160 credit hours towards her Bachelors of Science Degree
Southern Oregon State University. She obtained her CADCII and
has been working as a certified addictions counselor for 19
years in the state of Oregon, and Hawaii . She has worked in
the field of addictions and mental health as a counselor, supervisor,
and program developer. She has been with Change Point for the
past 2 years, and currently leads Intensive Outpatient and Domestic
Violence Intervention groups.
She has one 18 year old daughter who currently attends University
of Oregon . Susan enjoys ridding her horse Beau, and hiking
with her dog Max. |

Tim Davis, MDiv,

Tim Davis, age 41, has a Masters of Divinity from Denver Seminary
(1994) and a Masters in Counseling from Western Seminary (2004). Tim
worked as a pastor for 10 years and continues to work as a pastoral
counselor in his own private practice. Tim completed a year and half
long internship at the William Temple House for his master's level
counseling degree and has since been working at ChangePoint part-time
as a bilingual addictions counselor.
Tim grew up in Honduras running around barefoot on a Caribbean island.
Tim and his wife, Joye, have been married for nearly 19 years, and
have two increasingly large teenagers eating them out of house and
home. (And one yellow lab dog). |
